Essential First Aid Training
This training is necessary for any workplace
In the first instance, if someone is injured or ill at work, it doesn’t matter whose fault it is – what is important is that employers have made arrangements to ensure the affected person receives immediate attention. The initial management of injuries and illness, until expert medical attention is received, could be the difference between life and death.
First aiders are trained and certificated workers capable of administering first aid to injured or ill workers. They can only be trained by ASQA accredited organisations and the certificates issued are only valid for one or three years. First aid arrangements at work should always be reviewed quite regularly.
LVR + CPR 1 DAY NEW UNITS
Will provide the participant with the knowledge and skills to rescue, resuscitate and treat a casualty in a low voltage emergency.
LVR + CPR 1/2 Day New Units
Will provide the participant with the knowledge and skills to rescue, resuscitate and treat a casualty in a low voltage emergency.
Provide Advanced Resuscitation & Oxygen Therapy (HLTAID015) - 1 day
This course deals with the provision of advanced First Aid resuscitation techniques, life support, and management of casualty(s) until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers.
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) - 1/2 day
For those who require the necessary skills to provide CPR to a cardiac arrest casualty.
Provide First Aid - 1 day + pre-work
This program is to provide participants with training in basic life support and in the first aid processes and management of all injuries.
